After every 9,300 miles or twelve months, the car owner should opt for a complete service of the car. In this type of service, all the components of the safety service are carried out. Moreover, the wheel alignment test is conducted, the wheel bearing is checked, the brake fluid and belt is thoroughly checked as well. If the vehicle runs on diesel, the fuel filter should be compulsorily replaced. A fine or premium type of car service provided by car manufacturers lasts close to 36 months and ensures that the car can run close to 27,900 miles. In addition to the components checked in the basic and yearly service, the brake fluid is thoroughly checked during the premium service. Some car mechanics suggest that the brake fluid need not be changed if the car’s brakes are functioning properly. However, the microscopic rust particles in the fluid has the potential to cause the metal parts of wear out. In addition to this, the coolant is usually replaced during a premium service.

The Ultimate Type of Service

This type of ultimate car service ensures that the car stays in top shops for close to 48 months or runs for close to 37,280 miles. Along with the components checked in the other types of service, this type of service usually includes engine decarbonisation, adding specific fuel additives for the tank, adding a car fuel flush injector, and a thorough cleanup of the throttle body. Even though this is the most expensive type of servicing option, it ensures that the car is well maintained in the long run.

Usually, an old car requires more service as compared to the newer type of cars. If the service center does not make any kind of replacements, the car owner should ensure that the parts are conformed. This step is necessary to ensure that the replacement of the parts does not nullify the warranty of the car.
